2011年に解散したニュージャージー出身ポストハードコアバンドThursdayのオリジナルメンバーが先週末に5年ぶりの再会を果たしたことが、フロントマンGeoffrey Ricklyのtweetで明らかになりました。

しかしGeoffreyは今回の件は再結成を意味するものではないと語っており、「5年前に解散してから僕たちはお互いに一度も会うことはなかった。」「僕達が再び一堂に会することはないと思っていた(お互いに話をすることすら無いだろうと思っていた)。」「Thursdayを1998年にスタートして約15年間走り続けてきた」「ある時スイッチを切ったかのようにお互いに会うことをやめた。」「理由のひとつとして、「No Devolucion」は完璧なラストアルバムだったと僕たちの考えが一致したんだ、“Turnpike Divides” と “Stay True” で終わったんだ。」「僕たちは今ちょうど古い傷を修復して癒やしているところだということを理解して欲しい」「この週末は僕達にとってただの個人的な週末で、みんながこれを深読みしないでいてくれることに感謝したい」と語っています。

We started Thursday in 1998 and lived and traveled and worked together for almost 15 years, nonstop.
