元My Chemical RomanceのフロントマンGerard Wayが、バンドを代表するアルバム「The Black Parade」のレコーディング時に、ウォームアップとしてレコーディングしたThe Carpenters “Superstar” カバーをTwitterで公開しました。このカバーは「The Black Parade」収録曲 “Cancer” のレコーディング前に、ボーカルのウォームアップとして歌ったもので、アルバムにもカバーを収録しようとしたが、すでにアルバム約2枚分の楽曲があったことから収録は見送られたとのこと。“Superstar” カバーは以下Gerardのtweetのリンクをチェック！

This specific recording was from the day I sang 'Cancer' for the album. This track was a warm up, as I used to warm up to The Carpenters
