【NEWS】Princeが逝去(享年57歳)、シーンのアーティストも続々と追悼コメントを発表

Princeが逝去、享年57歳でした。

Princeは火曜日の朝早くにミネソタにある自宅兼スタジオ「Paisley Park」のエレベーターで亡くなっているのを発見されました。

TMZによると、4/15にプライベートジェットで移動中、インフルエンザの悪化によりイリノイに緊急着陸し病院に救急搬送されましたが、3時間後には退院し自宅に帰宅。次の日のライヴにも出演していたとのこと。またPrinceは数週間に渡りインフルエンザを患っていたようです。

Princeはこれまで数々のヒット作品を生み出しグラミー章を7度受賞、トータル売上枚数は1億枚を越えています。

そしてPrinceの訃報にSleeping With Sirens, All Time Low, Blink-182等シーンのアーティストも続々と追悼コメントを発表しています。

Rest in peace to one of my favorite artists of all time. Haven't loved an artist as long or as consistently as I have Prince. My dream was to one day collaborate with him or play drums for him. He use to come watch #DJAM and I play. Those nights went down as some of my favorite. Sad day, we lost one of the funkiest and most inspiring artists of our time. One of the greatest guitars players of our time. To me he was truly a musical genius, a true original.
